2A is the DC operating bias current and doesn't not change with the AC signal. With the Zv9 sporting an Aleph current source at about 50% AC current gain it gets a boost and the signal current can peak to 4A during transients. This prevents clipping beyond the bias current.

At 40V rail you lose about 5V of peak voltage.
