Dual chassis earthing question

I am a newbe working on completing an ono clone.

I have a question regarding the chassis earth for a dual chassis arrangement.

Should the chassis with the phono stage be earthed in a separate cable that is connected to the PSU box chassis that in turn is connected to AC earth?

Should I have two separate earth cables from phono box one with signal earth to PSU box and one for chassis earth?

No one can give me some guidance ? Maybe its best to try and see!

My preference is to AC earth ground the chassis of the power
supply and then connect the power supply circuit ground to
that AC earth ground through a bridge rectifier (so that it
conducts above .7V) in parallel with 22-47 ohms or so. Then
I attach the chassis of the signal circuit the signal ground
and see to it that the chassis does not otherwise get connected
to the AC earth.
