hi
My aleph 3 is in good progress my overbuild power supply is: 68000uF+1.2mH+68000uF+1.2mH+68000uF ripple with 4A test: 500mV on C1 50mV on C2 5mV on C3 my new idea easy to do just transfer 2 wire for bigger ripple but maybe normal ripple but is it a good idea for better crosstalk and stereo image ?? :-) thanks |

Hi,
maybe your post isnīt that clear? Do you want to make a stereo amp with just one transformer, one bridge and one C1 and after that separate them with two Līs and two C2? This should work gine although I would choose the chokes a bit bigger (1.8-2,2mH). William

Hi,
personally I always prefer double mono power supplies so I would opt for the second sollution where thereīs some kind of separation between channels. I never tried a stereo supply on an Aleph though, only on class AB amps. William
