First Watt Preamp?

is anything in the planning stage for a First Watt Preamp?

Or Phono?

I have been so busy with amplifiers, that I have not had the time.
I do, however, have a pile of extruded chassis that could hold
such a thing.

If the first watt of an amp has the most clarity and is the cleanest?

How many watts does a preamp put out?

May haveto look into this

I have just finish converting F1 Poweramp to F1 preamp . It quite simple. First pump up the supply to 60V +- . Add some blocking caps to the out put, change some resistors value change the power mosfets and you will have the very quiet preamp. Mr. Pass knows that most of his poweramp design can be converted to pre amps. With Mr. Pass blessing I will finish details of my conversion. That it for now back to my music again.

SINGLEENDED would you please be a little more specific about the changes you made to the F1 to change it to a preamp.

For the above info. I will save it for the time being. Like i said i will only give it out with Mr pass blessing. You know it is his hard work that we are all able to enjoy his creation. I will post a pix. later.
