Dr Pass has no experience at phone amps, they are a completely different ball game, your amp looks really good!!! may i suggest you bypass the cap of the cascode transistor with a 100n cap kind regards |

I somewhat have to agree with mastertech here .....You dont go to a car dealer, to seek advice, when you are going to get yourself a bike. I know for sure, Dr Pass hasnt yet forgotten how to smile A big smile from lineup

This is my last 'thread divertive' comment (sorry JH).
I think people are too quick to speak on Nelson's behalf. If he has a comment, is it not up to him to make it? If he has no comment, is it up to him to be silent? For all you know he could have been 'kitchen tabling' phone amps for 25 years and very well could be an authority on the matter. I take it all back if you are in fact "Robin Masters" Sorry jh6you...carry on.

but ... I can not say I am surprised. Amplifiers that can sound good driving difficult and heavy loads will certainly not do bad driving lighter loads. Only better!
