I have turned the bias up on my A-30 to 4 amps. Don't worry I have plenty of heatsinking. The A-40 and Krell clone still have more punch in the bass. They are at the same volume using the same pre-amp and speakers (two way).
I do see better response with the other full range speakers Ihave made.
