how does a pass jfet amp sound?
what does a pass jfet amp sound like?
is it tube like with sweet highs and deep sound stage? or is it more ss like with alot of detail but more strident vocals and less deep sound stage? has anyone done a shoot out with this amp vs a triode 300b set amp for example? digital class d amps have very nice sound but in my testing single ended el84 amps are much better at 5 watt output range - has anyone tested jfet against various types of amps such as these listed? please go into detail if you can |
