Krazy PSU for JFET cascode BOSOZ

Hi, Choky and Pass Labs forum members!

I move this subject here from My Take on Threshold NS10

Choky, I am an owner of two BOSOZs.
For the first one, I have a plan to try your CCSed zener regulator.
And, for the second one, I like to try this too.
I put all resistor values using your calculation method.

Ref. A point is about 60V for the top rail.
Ref.B point is about 18V for the upper CG MOSFET of the the cascode.
Ref.C point is about 9V for the bottom CCS.

Give me more comments plz.

make triple (cascaded) like this,off course with adequate resistors and number of zenners for each voltage;just because CCS for zenner string is important;if you are pedant,and you are

you can put one 1N400x in series with each zenner string,with cathode to ground-just to more stabilize temp variation in each string; and also-put no more than 10uF across each zenner string,preferably non elco
btw-you don't need 40mA through that TIP-20mA is OK.

Do you mean three pairs?
Understood about the compensating diode . . .
Also undestood about the 10uF . . . 0.1uF film okay?

increase those 0,1uF to at least 1 or,even better, 2,2uF film cap

also,you can still cascade triple like this

you still can use PNP BJTs and rellocate zenners to collector leg ,and change role of BJTs from em. follower to CCS
