Hi Gents,
This "compact"monoblock(45x21x37cm) produce about 75watt of pleasure in high power mode(8ohm).
When you don't like a high energy bill there is also a standby and low power mode(25w).
In fact i can control this amp with one button on the front.
Some details for one monoamp ;
trafo 2x18v 800va
rectifiers HFA25PB60 soft recovery dual bridge.
caps 8x 22000uF BC154
Coils 2x 2,2mH intertechniek
12x irf240(high power) or 4xirf240(low power)
idle current 6,6A /2,2A
hifizen board
grollins schematics
Pass inspiration
own interpretation
...
weight around 35kg(bad for your health).
any comment?
questions?
Best regards,
Johan.

Aluminium bridge

I don't understand that part.
Dear chipco,
Please look very carefully to the frontdetail picture. Sorry for the low resolution(100k max).
At the left and right front side(vertical) you see two rectifier bridges(discrete). The brown wire(left) is the +20V. The blue wire(right) is the -20V. The two green/Yello wires connect the two bridges at the large aluminium bridge above the cappacitors. This is my 0V starground point.
The supply has a CLC filtering. Mechanical from the outsides to the middle. 2x22000uF- 2,2mH-2x22000uF.
I hope it's clear if not i must look for another picture.
Johan.

Dear Mr.Pass,
Mayby this amp can help him with his "Satisfaction"problem.
Otherwise "some like it hot"
By the way. It's not for sale.

Caps buckled
If you mean damage the connection points …
Yes you must be very secure. Friction can be deadly. Otherwise the BC 154 serie looks mechanical very strong. It’s M5.
If you want to go for safe use a printboard.
