Aleph-X failured

Hello!

Very bad news, one of my two Alpeh-X 70W/4Ohms failured. Both Alephs were running very fine, heatsink temperature doesn't exceeds 50°C, but suddenly one Aleph-X started to buzz so I looked into it and saw that one of the resistors called R6 in Grey's schematic (but I#m using three stages per side=>6 per Aleph-X) is going to become very hot. After short time this resistor is glowing.
What could happened? Any ideas?

My heartbeat went up when seeing the thread title.
Reading your post, my first conclusion would be what Nelson calls: 'Random component failure over the years'.
If R6 goes up in smoke, it carries too much current and Q2 must be broken. I'd replace it and measure for any voltage over R9. Should be 0.
