500W Aleph Amplifier?
 

I have a DIY Aleph 1.2, is it possible to boost the output to 500W?

Of course. Just scale everything up.

A 500W Aleph CANNOT be built in the UK because it goes against the Kyoto Accord on Global Warming.

The UK has signed the the Kyoto Accord, while the US has not. You'll have to move to fullfill this DIYaudio dream.

how much heat is that, 1500 watts? thats insane.

luckily i am only a UK student, and my 1st home is i n Hong Kong. Who cares about Globel Warming

You will probably need to upgrade practically everything except the driver boards in the amplifier.

1) Transformer
2) Supply caps
3) Number of output FETs
4) Heatsinks

Did I leave out anything else? I dont mean to sound deterring, but it will nearly rebuilding the whole amplifier.
