Ive just recently finished my xbosox and am now running by aleph 5's on balanced cabling. since doing so when turning off my alephs I my speaker bass driver pushes our (quite a way!) I must say I never fitted an on off switch and turn off using the mains wall switch. It didnt happen when I was runnig unbalanced connections. Is there any simple way to prevent this as I fear it is damaging my speakers.....
regards dave

Sounds like your preamp may be offering a large
turn-off pulse. In that case, leaving the preamp on while turning off the amp first would take care of it. |

Thanks for your reply Nelson. The preamp is actually on when the alephs are turned off. I get a more pronounced effect when the preamp is turned off.....
