Hi,
Can I use 0.033uF or 0.47uF cap for C7 instead of 0.047uF. Is this part of noise supply filtering network? Thanks in advance for your response, your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Best Regards CB

CB,
0,033 maybe, 0,47 NO! You can try if 0,033 works for you (no oscillation). If not you must use the "standard" 0,047 or try the other configuration where C7 is connested between base and collector (0,01). I used the last and it works fine. william

Occasionally 0 is the right value, but most of the
time either .01 CE or .001 CB works fine. |

First of all, thanks a lot guys for sharing your knowledge.
Mr Pass I always read your forum, and I think you are one of the best DIY audiophile gurus on the Internet! And as for C7 I think I'll stick to the original value. Thanks again. Best Regards CB
