Don't ask me - I haven't heard any of the DIY units.

Can someone please send Mr. Pass an Aleph-X. Grey you must have an extra hanging around. What about you Jam? I sent you some boards that were all built up.
![]() If they can't get you one, I might be able to get my hands on one.

According to a recent post on current share the Aleph final adjustments were based on listening tests.
I suspect the Master spends many a long evening tweaking and taste testing his designs with the Passlabs Crew. It is therefore reasonable to assume all diy X Alephs, and other Pass diy amps will vary in character depending on subtle variations by the constructor. Macka |

I'd offer to ship mine down to Mr. Pass, but I suspect the shipping cost will be on par with the build cost I put into it. Anyone out there within easy driving distance of Pass Labs???

Funny, I was under the impression that there was no such thing as a Production Aleph-X. I though this amp was a creation of Grey's using a blend of Nelson's technology.

Terry!
You need to read the Aleph-X thread, from the beginning! The Aleph-X Then you need to visit the Pass Labs website and read up on the XA Series. ![]() XA White Paper I thought i did remember reading someone sent Mr. Pass a pair of the Aleph-X boards from the first group buy. But something tells me that Mr. Pass is to busy building new circuits to bother with an Aleph-X
