will Pass Zen variations grow the numbers sufficient enough to be able to listen each of the Goldberg Variations on a different Zen ?

31. Or 32
Bach wrote Variations as Aria + 30 variations + Aria
(A very cleverly named site www.a30a.com is dedicated to it).
And this site
http://www.thegoldbergvariations.com/index.php?page=titlePage
contains a shot of the original title page (translated at
http://www.music.qub.ac.uk/~tomita/essay/cu4.html )
which I ripped off and thought as a good logo for PASSDIY. Never mind.
Thanks for the inspiration!
A thumbnail calculation of the permutations gives 480 single-
stage variations. Of course if we were to cycle through them
all, you'd be pretty bored. For example, once you've learned
how to cascode a device, you probably would not want to see
240 versions of how to do it.
I think the trick is to make a few examples illustrate as much
technique as possible.

Oh, I didn't think that this idea would have anything to do with practicality or anything; it just sounded so Warhollesque to have ultimate keyboard pieces played on different variations of an ultimate DIY audio amp.
Even then we'd be faced with unsurmountable task of finding WHICH combination of Zen variations goes best with each of Goldberg variations (32 factorial is a mighty big number!).
Still, I'd like to think of it as a worthy addition to a Museum of Modern Art. A random generator constantly permuting amps and playing Variations in the background ...

I'm saving my discrete computer processor for MOMA.
