DoZ mic preamp (ESP)

Hi,

Quick question about the mic preamp found at Rod Elliots pages.

Figure 6.
I'm ordering from reichelt. BC559 comes in 3 types. A, B and C. And BC549 has two flavours, A and B.
What is the difference and does it matter wich one I choose?
Most likely a silly question..

The higher the letter, the lower the noise is. C is best.
But BC550C/BC560C would be better (I think).

Thanks for the reply. I will go for the less noisy then.

You think BC550 would be a better choise? And are they interchangeable without any modifications to the circut?

In this case, A types have lower gain and C type has the highest gain.
