I want to buy some cheap TO3 Mosfets to test my Zen circuit. Can I safely go as low as 4Amp continues drain without problems. The Mofets are rated at 850V and 125Watts. This will only be for short test runs and then I will substitute good ones.

You can, but its better that you paralell some..

I would not do that. Those devices often have high Rds(on) resistance and are not estimated for your purpose. Also please have a look at thermal resistance.

I have just found a reasonably prices source for an alternative with better specks.
