I recently purchased kari's X-BOSOZ that will be running to my Aleph 2 (if it ever gets finished). As I understand it, you wont get full potential from the X-Bosoz if its run single ended.
Is this right? unbal source (my computers sound card) >> JT-11P-1 >> X-bosoz >>Aleph Is there anything else I should be concerned about? |

Hi,
you can use an unbalanced input and still get the full X as long as you use the balanced output. William

If I recall correctly, Nelson has stated that it is preferred to use an unbalanced to balanced converter in lieu of a balanced source for the BOSOZ.
I remember asking him this question a couple of years ago. -David |

negative rail, it works quite well with a single-ended input. |
