New Power Supply module

Hello Everybody!

I designed a new power supply board for power amplifiers.
It is include the power-on delay schematic as well as the big capacitor cans.
The board is designed for Nippon Chemicon 68000uF 50V caps...

In any of the Pass amps would fit perfectly (I designed for Aleph 30 especially, pics coming soon)

Yes, very, very nice indeed. If you have 2 extra boards, I would be very interested in purchasing them.

as the boards are so nice would you consider a group buy?

I think, we could discuss on group buy.
I have to make some minor modifications on board anyway.
I found, that the position of the thermistor could be better.
The size of capacitors could be changed too (as this is designed for rather big size of caps)

Maybe it would be a good idea to make room for heatsinks for the rectifiers? Preferrably something like the Fischer SK104's.

You know what would really make this board deluxe, is a soft-start circuit. It would be great to use a lower voltage and current lighted switch to turn-on a high power relay.

a soft start combined with the delay power-on would contribute to this being an ultimate powersuply board.

One question though, why not use a capacitance multiplier? It would lower the ripple without adding a lot of compexity.

I'm curious what people think about it.
