Hello, I finished the aleph-P today ,but I use the headphone to test it, the sound is small (P1=150R , gain=+14dB),is it only my problem or yours Aleph-P is also like that ??

Hello Nelson, I don't know the impedance of my headphones, but the sound are normal when I using in the other preamp & portable cd player .

WOW!! Nelson , when I connecting to my Aleph 5 , the sound is details (already working 2 hrs) !! before I using Boz & tubes preamp , Aleph-P can play magic!! balance is balance , (3 hrs are coming) I can't stop the Aleph-P.
Help me ~~~~Nelson~~!!!!!! Thank you Nelson & Adam!! |

The one and only

Headphone impedances occur over a wide range depending on
which one it is, but a lot of them are down around 30 ohms or so, in which case the output impedance of the preamp will be attenuated. There are cures for this, but the first step is knowing what the impedance of your headphones is and whether they share a common ground. |
