From the few product lines I've looked at (plitron, avel, hammond), they don't make 18-0-18 transformers larger than about 200VA or 300VA. As the VA rating goes up, minimum voltages increase to 20-0-20 or 22-0-22. Where are you guys finding your 500VA and larger 18-0-18 transformers?

Victoria Magnetics will make anything you want and it will cost you no more than other company's stock toroidal. Their turn around is about 3 to 4 weeks. Their quality is exceptional.

Is this the beginnings of a 18-0-18 group buy from Victoria Magnetics? I need the same thing for my Aleph30. Question for those of you who have ordered from them: is there a volume discount?

I just bought 4 700 VA toroids from Victoria Magnetics. Note that in my case it took over 6 weeks to have them made, at about $90 each as I recall. Two were 18-0-18 Aleph types for my upcoming Aleph X. Just give them a call and order over the phone, they are not good with answering emails.
