I don't mind at all. Just put FETS where you see bipolars!

I try to learn at the same point at the moment (cascodes) , i bought Horowitz Hill because it was mentioned at much threads in diyaudio by many respektable persons (78 Euro... hard step) and read the little bit they say about cascodes.

I think the prob isnīt to put FETs in instead of the Bipolar Ts, its more difficult to understand the Voltagesources. Maybe its easyer to get it if someone posts a schematic with resisors etc and not only a V in a circle ?

If u are not used to handle this things often, you need a simplified schematic with ccs and vs AND a non simplified to get how it really works after understandig which devices form a cs or vs.

excuse my bad english please. Till.

Default Cascade Help

Till,

Getting the best performance out of a cascade stage can be a little difficult due to the biasing requirements. Most cascaded stages will work when all is properly biased. Just keep in mind that in some configurations the bias sources have to have very low impedances in order for the circuit to perform at optimum levels.

Try this link and see if the info and diagrams there are any help for you.
