Default questions on aleph -x

1 what will be good value for the in put capasitor ?
2 if i am using DRV134 there will be some dc voltage at the out put when the amp is not so hot yet what can i do?

1) Any value you wish. 10 uF is a good all round value.

2) The amp does not have significant differential output over a
range of temperatures, but if you are referring to the DRV134,
then the coupling capacitor(s) you are considering ought to solve
any such problem.

so what you mean is that i have any dc volatge floating around the out put is because of the dvr134 ?
what do you susgest me to do ?
could this amp wire directly without capsitor?
how is that if i put dvr 134 in the temperature isolating caze? will that work?
thank you and you are numble one !!!!!

Hi Mr Pass
i have a question i dont quite understand yet

i thank you awesomely in advance
may you build the best high-end class-a amps sir
love your articles you're awesome!!!!!

Mastertech,

I thought you were an amplifier designer? Harmonic distortion is the production of harmonic frequencies by an amplifier when a signal is applied at the input. When an input signal goes through nonlinear electronic circuitry, the output signal will include some harmonic distortion (or unwanted frequencies). If you analyze this distortion, you'll see that frequency of each unwanted frequency is a multiple 1f, 2f, 3f, etc. of the center frequency of the input signal. There are two types of harmonic distortion: even-order and odd-order. If the frequencies of the distortion are 2, 4, 6, etc., times the center frequency, it's even-order harmonics. If the frequencies of the distortion are 3, 5, 7, etc., times the center frequency, it's odd-order harmonics. So when Nelson talks about 2nd harmonic he is talking about even order harmonic distortion and when he talks about 3rd harmonic he is talking about odd order harmonic distortion. Sound about right Nelson?

In addition:

Fundamental The half cycle wave of signal is left-right symmetry.
2nd harmonic The half cycle wave has transverse racking deformation. Left-right asymmetry.
3rd harmonic The half cycle is still symmetry, but getting fat form.

Thank you for expanding on that. I sell network and spectrum analyzers for a living so when I think of this, I always picture it in my mind on a spectrum analyzer display with the fundamental or center frequency and the harmonics to the right of the fundamental.
