Hello,
I am a new member of this forum, living in Norway and just bought a Pass Labs X-350 to drive my Infinity Kappa 9.2i series II. When pushing very loud volumes, the VU-meters are almost constantly to the far right, and I wonder if this is bad or if there is still more headroom in my amp even if the indicator bottoms out. I am afraid to send some bad stuff into my speakers and destroy some drivers. My speakers do drop in impedance to appr. 1,5 ohms@30 hz. I also wonder if this is something the X350 can handle or not. To me the bass seems a little out of control, and I wonder if the low damping factor combined with this low impedance is a bad match? When I connect my other set of speakers, Usher Dancer AC-20 the bass is a lot tighter with the X350. Dag

Thanks for the answer Nelson, for other people interested, this was the answer:
The meter simply indicates current draw, and the amp can draw more current than the meter can indicate. np
