first post so bear with me please.
Just finished one psu board for xbosoz. The neg rail is at 60vdc. The pos rail is at 53.7vdc? pos drain is 95.5vdc, gate is 63.3vdc. neg drain is 95.7vdc, gate is 63.5vdc. checked the zener chains - ok, z115 is ok, c105 is ok. replaced the irf610 mosfet on the pos side, still the same. question, should the loss be greater thru the 610 vs the 9610? or am i missing something obvious. also note no difference loaded with 15k or open. can i just add a proper value zener to the chain to obtain the voltage i want? Thanks, eanders |

installed the 610 backwards inverting the source and gate. now all is good. the good news: 1 I laid out the point to point on paper correctly. 2 I got the drain in the right hole. the bad news: 1 I can't follow my own drawing. Humble Pie is a great rock group, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Thanks, eanders |
