does this diode good for aleph?

hfa25pb60 by IR soft recovery diode 23ns, 25/10 Amps .I am planing to build(I hope I can??) rectifier from theese, does it hold aleph 5??

Go for it.
First choice for many Aleph buliders.
There are two diodes in there, You have to use both of them in parallel.

two diodes?? as long I can remember there are 1 diode.. but I can mistake. I think I need 4 of them to build rectifier. here is the data-

You are right, mixed this one up with a different type.
The price seems good, Richardson (www.rell.com, usually they have very good prices on IRF devices) calls 4$05 for quantities between 100 and 249.

by the way gladly to see that shotky diodes becomes more and more powerful/ 5 years ago I bet there was not 25-30 theese soft recovery diodes..
