hot hot HOT
I thought my amp was very hot. I've never had an amp run this hot before and was a bit nervous so........ I borrowed a few thermistors from work and fastened them onto various components inside and outside the amp, closed it up and played it for 2 hours.
The top of the IRFP240's got as high as 67C, the tab of a 9610 on the differential pair got to 82C, ambient inside the amp was 48C, temp on the hottest spot of the heatsink was 55C.
These readings surprised me as I can barely hold the palm of my hand against the heatsink for more than a few seconds yet the temp on the 240 suggests my heatsinking is OK.
Question: is the tab temp on the 9610 a little high at 82C as the spec says absolute max is 150C at the junction.
BTW fantastic sounding amp

Is there any parts list available to clone ?
Attached is a BoM I used when making mine, it should be fairly obvious.

Re: hot hot HOT
just place one mutual heatsink for both 9610.....even Alu plate is good enough

Re: hot hot HOT
No problem. Keep the junction below 100'C and your're in good shape.
Q1/Q2 junction temp: 82'C + (0,3W x 6,4'C/W) = 84'C
