FIRST OF ALL MANY THANKS FOR THE REPLY YOU SEND ME IN THE LAST THREAD! GREAT SUGGESTS!
Hallo, before I'm starting my studing of Electric Engineering I has attend two years at the politechnic studying Architecture and Design, so while I'm waiting caps and other material to starting my Zen amplifier, I'm studing the chassis structure and the aspect of the cabinet for the two monoblock amplifiers,...I'm very attracted by NorthStar's Monoblock design, but I want keep the cubic form of Aleph I've seen (It's a really good idea).... So, starting from the linear simply philosophy wich the Zen design bring with itself, I've design a simple "Super-Symmetric" logo for the amplifier (it is only a fast draw...a "schizzo") I think it could be placed on the top surface of the blocks imagine a black satineé backgroung and the steel logo in a sort of "bassorilievo"... If you would like to suggest concepts that would be important in the logo design development, any suggest would be appreciated!! Thanks! Domenico Magnisi |

Just one curiosity, your drawing is not symmetrical about any line...

Although my first view of the drawing was exactly what others come up with I’m quite certain it is not the designers intention to remind us of the ugly past. Certainly not in association with the nice Zenisch ideas.
Actually, when looking a little closer it also reminds me of a drawing of birds from some peaceful organization. Don’t know exactly which one for the moment, I’ll have to do some research… /Hugo

I really like homer09's pic. It flows well. Simple and elegant.
However, it is kyrochan's thread... I don't know if he's looking for other ideas or comments about his original drawing. V~ |

Hallo, many thanks for each your reply!
I don't want remind the nazism at all!!! I'm italian, my granfather was a partisan in north-east of Italy and his brother will be deported in Aushwitz.... So my work are not inspired at all to the nacis use of the svastica... But You should know that the oriental use of this symbol is extremely ancient, strictly connected with the Gea concept, it remind to the ideas of LIFE, SUN, ENERGY, POSITIVITY.... IF You would like to spend a grat holiday in Salento (one of most beauty land in the south of Italy, where the oriental and occidental patterns flow togheter in the architecure, and the artistic relization) you will find in many of the christian chatedrals front a large use of the svastica symbol...this could be a syncretistic use of many influences but I will assure it is a simpliest look at th cultural roots of these place... I will really appreciate if you would play with my logo! Modify it, play with your pencil and your gum! Only one rule you MUST follow each sign of your pen MUST hace a concept behind it! Each sign should explain something you have understand related to the Zen Concept and sound in Mr. Pass realization. OK? Have fun play with your feeling and your imagination that's what artist do! TNX a lot Domenico Magnisi |
