Hello, I was wondering if anyone can help me out with this one:
I'd like to use an Sanyo 220uF 6.3V electrolytic capacitor from the SP series as input coupling capacitor (C11) in my Aleph 30. This because it is an low ESR type and also comes with OFC leads, looks perfect to me! Only I'm a little bit concerned about the voltage rating: 6.3Volts. Will this work in this amplifier or do I need an higher voltage rating (above PSU rail voltage) to prevent a blow up? Thanks in advance, Leroy |

Hi Leroy,
6.3V will be fine. There should be almost no DC voltage over this cap (only the dc-offset voltage wich should be less than 100mV) William
