Caps upgrade for my Zen amp (v1)

Hi,

I just ordered new caps for my Zen amp (v1) to upgrade the C3, C4 & C5 (input & output):

C3 & C4 (output): stock 2000uF 35 V caps --> Panasonic FC 2200 uF 35 V
C5 (input): Tantal 47 uF 50 V caps --> Black Gate Type C 47uF 50 V

Do you think I'll heard some difference ?

Probably, yes. But, before you inform us of the change in sound, I hope you spend more than one week listening. Good luck.

You should use tantal resitors too......

If you want to upgrade a ZenV1, You should visit the Zen revisited
paper. You might be able to gain more in that approach.

Thanks for you replies.

I just received the new caps and I'll soon make the mods (maybe this evening).
For now I just want to make a simple upgrade and keep my simple Zen v1.

I keep you informed...
