Can I use 2sk170 "V" instead of "BL" in the Pearl?

I got a set of V's when I ordered the transistors. Can I use them instead of the BL's? I matched them up so I'd hate toss them away.

BL is 6.0 to 12mA
V is 10 - 20mA

oh well, I guess the gain will be different so I ordered the BL's from www.acme-sales.net

They had 10 packs for $9.99

I ordered 30 of them, so I will have 22 left over if anyone needs them.

I also have 14 of the V spec.
