maybe more explication

a source follower with ccs is very good :

gain=1
low distorsion without feedback
good widthband

but the sound is very neutral and to get a good
amplifier you need to add some personality :) to
the sound

a good way is tube (triode not pentode) with
even harmonics

don t forget if you go with transfo you need a equivalent
low zout 100 ohm max. to drive your output follower

but for me sorry :) double follower= double neutral sound

bye
