Question IRPF240 Replacement?

Looks like Fairchild just came out with this. 200V, 19A. Input capacitance is only 65% of the IRPF240. Appears to have a much higher transconductance too.

I'm new at this, so I would appreciate someone looking at the datasheet link below and giving me your feedback. Would this thing work better in a SOZ than the 240?

OK, I put in the link for the FQA19N20 instead of the FQB.

The FQA has slightly higher current capacity and the same transconductance as the 240 but with 65% of the input capacitance. The FQB seems similar except for the much higher transconductance.

Sorry for the mixup.

Well, I've just studied the datasheet for the FQA in your link and it looks good. Will drop right in to replace IRFP240. The only issue could be in switching circuits as rise/fall and Ton/off times are longer for the Fairchild part, but everything else looks better.

They sound good. The Vgs is a little higher than the IRFP 240.
Can't get a 6-32 screw through them.
