JFET parameters have a very wide variation. Hand matching JFETs is very time consuming and expensive. If you know the approximate bias current in the circuit you can try to purchase binned parts. I typically bias my JFET diff amp stages to 4 ma per transistor and purchase the BL graded parts. A phono input stage that works on very low currents would likely use GL grade parts.
To my knowledge, these dual JFETs are now discontinued and there are mainly Toshiba old stock in the market. 2SK389, 2SJ109 Idss BINNING: GL: 2.6-6.5ma BL: 6-12ma V: 10-20ma You can also check component suppliers like MCM, Digikey, etc...to purchase these transistors. You might find better prices, but a higher minmum order requirement. |
