Can anyone tell me the factory reccomended fuse size on the power board for this amp ?
I know this is a loaded (and somewhat unfair question), but what generally would cause the power board fuse to blow in one channel at about 50 watts continuous power on these amps ? Is there any smoking gun or "have you looked at this first" type of thing ? Thanks! |

My schematic does not show a power board fuse - it shows
an output fuse and a AC line fuse. If there is a fuse in line with the DC supply, it would be on the negative rail, and I would start with a 3 amp fast blow to see if it pops on turn-on, which would indicate a failure. |
