I always use teflon jackets on my wire, but read somwhere that no jacket is better. It's just too much hassle to take care of all those tweaks.

Currently we use white Teflon coated wire with about 130
fine copper strands wound around a non-conductive center.

Mr. Pass,

I light of your article http://www.passlabs.com/pdf/spkrcabl.pdf, are there other technical reasons that you use the particular wire you described in your post?
If so, what are they?
Is this wire used for low level signals only, or do you use a larger gauge of the same configuration for PSU and output wiring?
