Upgrading Aleph from 3 to 2 gain stage

Hello!

Some years ago, Pass Labs provided an upgrade of Aleph 1 to Aleph 1.2.

I wonder about doing an identical conversion to the last version of the Aleph 0s (eliminating one gain stage):

- Is it a doable (simple) operation?
- Would the final result be a sort of Aleph 5?
- Is it worthy? (would improvement on mids compensate loss in bass control?)

The hardware is there, so you only need to replace most
of the front end circuit. Set the output current source for
50 degrees C sink temperature. Don't expect the full 40
watts, but it will swing more into higher impedances.
