Hi,
I have a qs. about Threshold T-200 compared to Pass Lab amps. T-200 is Class-A till 100watts, while Pass Lab amps only go up to 32watts or so. Does this mean replacing T-200 with x250 or x150 wont be a good idea. I am very confused due to lack of knowledge, whether upgrading to Pass amps will make a diff. for better or worst or none Right now my preamp is Threshold T3, cables Cardas Neutral Ref. and speakers Polk Audio LSi15 4ohms@86db. Any opinions or suggestions ? Thanks in advance Tapesh |

Every Pass amplifier has a different value for Class A
operation. I don't suggest that you pick an amplifier solely based on its Class A power rating. |
