After my first hours of listning itīs time to tweak this amp to perfection. I noticed a temperature difference between both heatsinks, and measurements showed that the bias of my left channel is 2.6 Amps instead of 2.0. I used the same parts for both channels, used the same wirelenghts and same heatsink. So one would expect same behaviour.
I used a fixed 221kOhm resistor for bias and 432Ohm for gain. Is it ok to assume everything else is ok (checked all the voltages: were ok) and just tweak the bias of my left channel to 2.0A by using a lower value bias resistor? ErikH. |

yes,
or you could try another BC550 or whatever you are using. William
