Default Another Aleph5

It's alive ....

Finished my new Aleph5 today, as I sit here listening to Clapton Unplugged.

The attached pic is from the "bench run" and I'll post some more images to a webpage in due course.

To Give you some idea, each side is a complete module, with the PCB effectively mounted by the FETs. Obviously I designed the PCB to the specific heatsink.

The front panel is 8mm aluminium. I had the logo photo engraved, then enamel filled it and hand "brushed" the surface prior to clear satin.

That looks really good. Do you have any pictures that show the inside of the case ? Also how did you mount your leds ?

I have a 10mm machine bit which is what I used to recess the front hex nuts and the rear of the LED. The 45deg fron was done with a countersink bit. They are held in position with a small dob of hot glue.
