Does anyone know which couplig caps were used in the original Aleph P1.7 preamp? I can see from the picture that they are red (they could be BC components or Xicon MKP caps). Does anyone know for shure?
THANKS |

I'm pretty sure they're Panasonic ECQ-E(F) Series
DigiKey part# EF1106-ND This is the part used in the Balanced Zen Line Stage. |

Are you sure?
The Panasonic ECQ-E(F) Series are metallized polyester film capacitors, and most of the DIYers says that this sort of capacitor isn't very good in audio. |
