I'm going to build a full range speaker...probebly the Voight pipe with a Fostex driver. I have boards for the Zen amp, Aleph 3 and Aleph-x...
Which of these amps would make a good match for a Fostex driver. I would presume that later, we will have the plans for a proper Pass type of current amplifier. Thanx in advance... |

The fun thing to do would be to build all three and listen a lot!
If you're just starting out, build the Zen (excellent construction article) and go from there. |

Aleph 3 with 10R resistor in series with output works excellent on my Fostex FE204.Zen v4 sounds a little worst than A3.Don't know about AX.
But generally I found Aleps to be much better match for Fostex than Gain Clone for example. Bartek |
