Default Help Wanted Bride of zen parts

Hi All
My First time in hear I am thinking of building the bride of Zen single stage pre amp my first go at this I would very much like some advise on Parts Selection regarding capacitors @ volume Pot

Questions

1, Can you suggest Good capacitors for C1, 3, 4, 101,102 can I use a higher voltage than the specified 100 volts if necessary pending on availability.0f the 100volt Transformer 300v 30+30volts as I have this one in my part box

2, what is the best value I can use for dual gang volume pot if I can’t find the recommended 5KOhms, that is easy to source something like the Alps or better pleas give pot value

I don’t have one of Mr Pass’s Amps as whet so a suggestion or two hear would be nice
Some thing around 30 Watts into a 6 Ohm load Cheap @ easy to build

Thank you for the help
Chaps
Regards
Colin

i used WIMA MKS and MKP for caps, instead of pot i made an aleh - p style relay volume control, description you find on the page linked with the www button below.

I would choose Aleph3 - 30W/8R and 60W/4R ...

I also done sound comparison between Zen v4 and A5 (both diy projects) - I like Aleph's sound more ...

Instead of BoZ - why not decide for AlephL?

I never said I prefer A3 more than A30. I just said that if I would be again at my first Pass based project - I would choose for A3 today and not for Zen v4...
Power dissipation is very similar - so chassis must be pretty much the same - and that's expensive part. Trannie is the same for both - 400-500VA and ~2x18V secondaries ... OK, there is a slightest difference to buy few more transistors for A3 and few capacitors ... But I prefer Aleph sound more ...

OK regarding A30 - it's more like A5 if you ask me - so you need some more $$ to finish it up ...

Look - I have BoZ and AlephL right now here with me - BoZ was first preamp ever build by me ... What I like more with AL - those input gain settings - great stuff. I had problems with BoZ - because my CDP has quite high output ... In AL case it's quite simple - you just rearange switches and
I also like the "matching" between A5 and AL more than with A5/BoZ combination ...
And again - trannie specs are same in both cases ... You need chassis on both cases; if you decide so make a PCB - it's similar sized in both cases ... I don't think AL costs much much more ...
