It's in the current Stereophile Buyer's Guide.

I am looking at the Stereophile and I see the F2 in there but I do not see the F6 as I "believe" was the question here:

http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=1423672#post1423672

Any other articles or reviews of it other than the AudioXpress issue which has not been published yet?

I may have to subscribe to AX again.. I stopped after their lame coverage of the Gainclone amps which I think do a TREMENDOUS job of hooking people in this hobby. :)

The F2 which shows up was not intended for review, but
was an accomodation sale to Sam Tellig. He decided to write
something up anyway.

Stereophile has not shown additional interest in First Watt,
for reasons that are not known to me, but they do list the
models in the Buyer's Guide published annually.

Surely any self-respecting DIYer can find a way to put a light bulb into a project. If nothing else, you could use it as the R in a CRC filter in the power supply.

I thought that's what tube audio was all about...:D

after all, aren't they the essence of what tubes are all about.... no messin around with grids, cathodes, that sort of thing... just raw power of the heater
