Maybe a subwoofer output?

Also a remote control with a mute button. For the WAF.

In the interest of fairness, I feel that I should insert here that my wife has always been very supportive of my audio hobby. She actually listens to the big system and likes music in a non-trivial way. You can find women who want to dance, or go to concerts, or have music as sonic wallpaper for parties, but finding one who actually wants to listen sometimes is a good thing.
They're out there. You've just got to find them.

The women in my house would prefer to watch TV. Therefore, I generally listen to music alone. Hence, my system caters to the hedonistic tendencies I possess. Ah, horns...

Sorry to hear about your divorce, Lee.

Maybe you can meet a sweet electronics tech next time? One who enjoys music on homemade amplifiers, of course.

Hope all worked out ok for the two of you.

I did the divorce thing about eighteen years ago. Roughly a year later, I hooked up with someone who actually added things to my life instead of taking all the time.
Married her.
Vast improvement. Not unlike going from class C to high bias class A. Things had started to improve even before the divorce was finalized. Sold my first story, got a promotion at work...previews of coming attractions, you might say.
There will be bad days, but they will become fewer as the year progresses. Life will get better.
