Well, coupled inductance is what transformers are all about, but
if you're talking about non-coupled inductance, then of course
their effect is to limit the high frequencies that can pass through
the transformer. Hardly a problem at 60 Hz and the sub 1 KHz
harmonics.

identical transformers varying by 10% in this regard.
