Does the inductance of big (1000VA) influence the performance of an amp, and if yes, what happens if the difference between 2 transformers is like 10%??

The one and only
|
Well, coupled inductance is what transformers are all about, but
if you're talking about non-coupled inductance, then of course their effect is to limit the high frequencies that can pass through the transformer. Hardly a problem at 60 Hz and the sub 1 KHz harmonics. Nevertheless you would have to wonder about two supposedly identical transformers varying by 10% in this regard. |
