Dear All,

Thinking about my new super-duper yet-to-be BOSOZ and Alephs and what to do the line level wiring with.

Where can I source some pure cotton braid suitable for use as insulation? I Googled until I went silly, but all I found were huge rope-making companies, or polyester/mix braids for dressmaking. I only need small quantities rather than thousands of metres!

Gotta have some weird (but cheap) stuff to put in my new babies.

Regards,
George.

Why bother, you might ask? Fine silver wire (bare) cheap from one of the jeweller's suppliers here. I liked the idea of ven Haus's interconnects. Fine teflon tube v. expensive and I imagine difficult to feed, and I just wanted to be a bit different. But of course the question about the best "recipe" for home made BALANCED interconnects can be left to another time. :)
