Hi averybody.
I am planning a power amplifier to couple on the bass section of mine 3 ways loadspeaker.
On the mid-high section Zen V4 works one. Because I have a trafo from 46V 11A, I have thought to an outline very simple one, with the first stage formed from a BOSOZ that directly drives an
array of mosfet in push-pull.
Because I am not expert to make projects, I am asking to you with more experience if this project can work, or if are there some errors.
The amplifier should have approximately 50W with the first 5 in A class, and would work very well under low impedences load.
Any comments?
Thanks to averybody.
Ciao.

Is your transformer 46 Volts AC with a center tap? If so,
it will give you maybe +/-30 volts to work with, which is
just great. If it's not center tapped, we have to consider
other alternatives.

Hi Mr Pass.
The 46V is without center tap.
For the input stage I would use a second power supply 55-0-55 80VA.

So now you have maybe 60 volts under load. It's probably
easier to select a different amplifier for the transformer or
a different transformer for the amplifier.
Or you could use that 60+ volts to drive BOSOZ.

Because I have already got the transformer, it can be better to change tha amplifier.
But doesn't the BOSOZ works at +-60V?

iffy pics!
the second picture was a bit blurred, any chance of posting a better pic? and can someone please clarify what the power rail conections are, coz im new at designing these things and just follow the drawing. thanks guys, steve.. ..

- A power amplifier very (too much) simple.
