Can the distortion balance, due to using the transformers in place of the 8 ohm resistors, be measured and fine tuned using an o-scope instead of a distortion meter? I have plenty of toroids laying aroung that would work great for SOZ V7x. I just have no way to balance out the distortion.

The one and only
|
Certainly you can look at the wave and see distortion if it's
high enough. If you have a potentiometer and can identify distortion at one value and the opposite but equal distortion at another value, then you can take a shot by operating the amp at exactly the center between those two positions. |
